    It is interesting that no one really tries to cover the big Prince songs like When Does Cry, Raspberry Barrette. It's just hard to do. He was really original. Nothing Compares 2 U is another (not released by Prince) is another song that could be compared to "I Feel for You" as far as covers go!

    I would recommend fans of Donny check out Nigel Hall. He's done tons of great stuff from Soulive to the Nth Power to Lettuce to his solo stuff. I've met him and he is one of the most humble musicians I've ever met. He has massive Stevie and Donny influence and sings in a similar fashion. I think anyone who loves those two legends will love Nigel Hall too.

    If you know and love music? PRINCE stands with and above the greats. Truly greats dating back hundreds and hundreds of years. Mozart, Bach, Beethoven, etc. Beatles, Clinton, Hendrix, Bee Gees. Stones, Jacksons. He cannot be denied and looms large among ALL!

    I grew up in the 70's and I remember most of these cats. It was a cool time. All races were represented and appreciated. I had friends and team mates from black to white to very white! Haha! I just bought a bass, haven't played in a long while but I can't imagine being at the same level as the artists featured here..right on!
